Introducing Sara

Yesterday I adopted a new dog! Her name is Sara and she's from the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. She's 9-10 years old and had lived at the end of a chain on a small rural farm in North Carolina for most of her life. Her story is documented on the St. Louis Senior Dog Project blog here, here and here.

So far, Sara is doing great! She seems very happy and I love having her. Read more here.

Tom-
Congrats and welcome Sara. I read about your adoption over on Senior Dog Project blog and had to come see pictures. I was gonna ask you if you would look at Opal Anne cause I fell in love with her but can not adopt cause I already have 2 bad dogs and Mom is in charge during the day and said NO. I figured if you took her I could see her here. I'm happy for you and Sara. She is one lucky dog.

Thanks Margo! And Opal Anne looks really cute!

BTW, I'm looking forward to Christmas Story at the Rep. Have tickets for 2nd or 3rd week, not sure.

Dress is next tuesday and then we are going next saturday. It should be fun. There are 7 kids and 4 adults I am told.

And I totally agree about Opal Anne - Maybe Santa will bring her to live with me?

Margo, did you know that Opal had escaped from her foster's yard this week? She was gone for a day but then found and came home. Whew!!

Details here on the St. Louis Senior Dog Project blog.
